Glass Material Introduction

Products lined with these materials are among the restricted product types listed in Appended Table 1 of the Japanese Export Trade Control Order.
Export requires export permission from the Japanese relevant governmental authority based on the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and other relevant laws of Japan.

From the standpoint of industrial safety, we have developed the world’s first non-spark GL (Anti-electrostatic glass lining)
glass lining equipment safer and more secure against static electricity accidents.
It has contributed to the improvement of safety, which was not possible with conventional technology, and has been widely acclaimed in various fields, including receiving the “Progress Award” from the Japan Electrostatic Society in 1999.
“Non-Spark GL” has achieved a volume resistivity of 108Ωm or less by uniformly dispersing platinum fibers in all enamel layers in a three-dimensional direction.
Since the glass lining layer of “Non-Spark GL” is conductive in the volumetric direction, it keeps the same conductive performance even if the glass lining surface is corroded or worn by abrasion. The corrosion resistance of “Non-Spark GL” is equivalent to that of our standard glass #400.

Natrium-free GL (NF-GL)

The world’s first “Natrium Free GL”. The amount of Natrium ion elution from glass lining is reduced to 1/10 of the standard glass, which contributes to the production process of electronic materials such as high-end photosensitive raw materials for resist and high-purity chemicals.
Though Natrium being an essential component of glass lining, from our long experience in the glass lining industry we were able to replace Natrium with other components, achieving a Natrium-free glass lining.
By using “Natrium Free GL”, the time required for dealkali cleaning in the reaction vessel can be greatly shortened, and the Natrium ion removal process in the post process can be reduced.
Furthermore, the “Natrium Free GL” has a superior heat resistance over fluoroplastic-lined reaction vessels and an extended service life can be expected. The corrosion resistance of “Natrium-Free GL” is equivalent to that of our standard glass #400.

Neutral Color GL (NC-GL)

We have developed the “Neutral Color GL” with improved visibility to make it easier for customers to check the cleaning status of their products and cans.
This was achieved by arranging cobalt blue color dots on white glass lining. The corrosion resistance of “Neutral Color GL” is equivalent to that of our standard glass #400.

Conventional glass lining is a material of poor thermal conductivity compared to steel but we have developed the world's first "NEO-GL" with improved thermal conductivity using our unique enameling formula and firing technology.
Neo GL is effective in all processes where glass lining equipment is used, such as cost reduction by shortening the manufacturing lead time, improvement of product quality and yield, and reducing the effect of lowering the heat transfer area per unit volume (S/V) during scale-up. The corrosion resistance of "Neo GL" is equivalent to that of our standard glass #400.

We have a technical tie-up with De-Dietrich of France, one of the world's top manufacturers, and have introduced "#3009", which is widely used in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical sectors in Europe.
